Coastal and Inland Waterways
Life Saving Victoria's Coastal and Inland Risk & Signage Assessment services can be completed at existing or planned aquatic environments in partnership with the relevant Management authority . The aim of the service is to assist land managers, owners and developers in identifying, understanding and managaing the risks that exist. A site assessment is conducted and a subsequent report provided which details a selection of recommendations and implementation strategies. The assessment focuses on a number of key elements such as risk management service plans, safety signage, public education, rescue services, emergency procedures and emergency markers and is based on recoginsed Industry guidelines.
