Water Safety Projects

These projects typically involve a variety of Life Saving Victoria Education and Training activities embedded within the project overall.

Activities can include a combination of, or all of the below:

• Beach programs - Beach/ocean environments
• Open Water Learning Experience - inland waterway environments
• Meet a Lifeguard - 1 hour interactive/theoretical session
• Resuscitate a Mate- 1 hour interactive/theoretical session
• Pool Lifeguard training
• First Aid training
• Surf Bronze Lifesaver training - patroller and junior lifesavers (Nippers)
• Cultural Information Sharing sessions - for partnering organizations. e.g. pools & lifesaving clubs
• Learn to Swim sessions
