Description / history:

Elwood Beach (and the backing foreshore reserve) is a popular area used for a range of activities. The Elwood Life Saving Club was founded in 1911 and is situated next door to the well known "Sails" restaurant in the Pavilion at Elwood Beach. Extensive car parking (fees apply) and a park, picnic area and oval back the beach.
