Building Leaders Scholarship 2009-2010

2009 Building Leaders Scholarship (18 - 30 years)

Leadership is a vital factor in the continued development of Australian communities.  Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is committed to the personal development of identified leaders within its membership and the wider community.  The Building Leaders Scholarship (BLS) targets 18-30 year olds and is the pinnacle of LSV's Leadership Pathway.

The Building Leaders Scholarship will engages scholars from LSV and other community organisations over a 12 month period.  The Scholarship is designed to build leadership skills and knowledge and highlight the opportunities available to Victorians choosing to pursue leadership roles.  Scholars will develop a state-wide network and receive training in core leadership competencies under the guidance of active leaders from lifesaving, business and the community.
