Increase Text Size
If you prefer the font size on the Life Saving Victoria website to be larger or smaller, you can control this using your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to change the size of the font displayed on the screen either permanently or temporarily. How you increase the font depends upon what browser you are using. Examples of how to increase or decrease fonts in several popular browsers are as follows:
Internet Explorer Version 5.5 and above
You change font size by
- selecting View from the menu bar, and,
- selecting Text Size from the View menu, then,
- select the size you want from the list.
OR
- If you have a wheeled mouse you can use Ctrl and the mouse wheel to increase and decrease the text size.
The font size you select will remain in effect until you select a different size.
Firefox
You change font size by
- selecting View from the menu bar, then,
- selecting Increase Font or Decrease Font as required, from the View menu.
OR
- Increase the text size by selecting Ctrl +
- Decrease the text size by selecting Ctrl -
OR
- If you have a wheeled mouse you can use Ctrl and the mouse wheel to increase and decrease the text size.
Opera Version 6.0 and above
You change font size by
- selecting View from the menu bar, and,
- selecting Zoom from the View menu, then,
- select the zoom factor you want from the list.
Your selected zoom will remain in effect until you close Opera.
Netscape Navigator Version 4.7x and above
You change font size by
- selecting View from the menu bar, then,
- selecting Increase Font or Decrease Font as required, from the View menu.
To continue to increase or decrease the font size simply repeat these steps.
Your selected font size will remain in effect until you close Netscape.
Safari
You change font size by
- To increase the text size select the
key and + - To decrease the text size select the
key and -
